Raised in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, I am the product of a large family upbringing. I am the second daughter of four children. Food and beverage have been my occupation for over twenty years.

Writing is my favorite hobby. Duties of the Heart developed through lots of small stories and experiences twisted into my favorite kind of book, fantasy romance, where the possibilities were limitless. When I was done, a whole new enchanted world had been created.
